This regulatory framework , a product of nearly two years of meticulous planning, sets the stage for entrepreneurs to engage in the production, distribution and therapeutic use of magic mushrooms, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), ibogaine, mescaline and psilocin, as approved by Proposition 122 . With the official green light, Colorado joins a growing number of states that are embracing the potential of psychedelics for therapeutic use .
