The batches that were tested "exceeded acceptable limits" of yeast and mold. COLORADO, USA — A Health and Safety Advisory was issued Friday for certain batches of marijuana sold at six dispensaries in Colorado.

The advisory, issued by the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, says the batches that were tested had levels of yeast and mold that exceeded acceptable limits . Marijuana that exceeds established limits is considered "a threat to public health and safety," the advisory reads.

The producer, Wild Horse Enterprises, LLC, sold the "potentially contaminated" products between March 21, 2024, and June 9, 2024. The company voluntarily recalled the affected batches in collaboration with the Marijuana Enforcement Division, the advisory says.

The recalled products were sold at six stores in Colorado: Denver: The Joint, located at 4745 West 38th Ave., 80212

Pueblo: Maggie’s Farm, located at 4803 North Interstate 25, 81008

Garden City: High Plainz Strainz, located at 2506 6th Ave., 80631

Garden City: Nature’s Herbs & Wellness Center, located at 540 27th St., 80631

Manitou Springs: Maggie’s Farm, located at 141 Manitou Ave., 80829

Walsenburg: Bud Hut, located at 973 U.S. Highway 85-87, Suite 300, 81089 Marijuana consumers can check the containers of any flower purchased for a Retail Marijuana Cultivation License and Harvest Batch number. The advisory asks that products with the following cultivation license or batch numbers be disposed of or returned: Retail Marijuana Cultivation License: 403R-01069 Harvest Batch numbers: GP012524F1 and WS012524F1 The advisory says anyone who experiences adverse health effects after consuming the affected marijuana should seek immediate medical attention and report it to the Marijuana Enforcement Division here .
