AudioCARE Prefill New refill reminder sends out reminders to Veterans when prescriptions need to be refilled.
New reminder service is called Audiocare.
Veterans will receive a text message or phone call is sent when medicine needs to be refilled. The message will give the option to refill or renew prescriptions. All Veterans who have a valid phone number on file will be automatically enrolled. You can opt out of the program by replying "STOP" to text message or notifying the Outpatient Pharmacy.
Medicines that will be included are for long-term conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, asthma, etc. Excluded medications include controlled substances – continue to request these medicines through MyHealtheVet, Phone etc., and short-term medicines.

Through the Mail : A request form comes with every VA prescription filled.
