In today’s fast-paced world, convenience often trumps quality, especially when it comes to food. Junk food, laden with high amounts of fats, sugars, and artificial ingredients, has become a go-to for many. For instance, omega-3 fatty acids, abundant in foods like fish and flaxseeds, are essential for brain health and have been linked to lower rates of depression and anxiety.” Adding, she said, “Junk food, being deficient in these nutrients, can lead to impaired cognitive functioning and emotional instability.”
